So I was at Shaw Lido this evening purchasing a pair of movie tickets, asking the lady at the counter which card would be the cheapest deal for a pair of tickets this friday evening. She confirmed that it was the SAFRA card and hence I handed her my credit card for payment of $9 per ticket. Then I saw this poster hidden in a corner and I asked her about the promotion, which she said “each ticket costs $5 using the JCB card”. I tried to stop the transaction but by then, she had already charged my credit card 
Nevertheless, the promotion is till the end of the month and since most people in Singapore do not have the JCB card, I think I shall spend some time at Shaw this month.
